Hi, I’m Gemma — the one-woman show behind Hidden Gems Oddities. I made my first (very wonky) quilt at age ten as a birthday present for my dad, and I’ve been sewing ever since. Over the years, I’ve honed my craft and stitched together my love of dragons, magic, dinosaurs, and ethical slow fashion to create Hidden Gems Oddities.

Every part of this business is powered by me — from web design and social media to pattern drafting, fabric sourcing, and material testing. But my favourite part? Sitting down to sew your one-of-a-kind bag, then carefully packing it up and sending it off to its new home.
